I have a love-hate relationship with the Kardashian’s.  On one hand, I think they are completely ridiculous and pretty opposite from myself on the moral spectrum.  On the other hand, they are a fierce group of women that know how to create, run, and grow a business and put family before everything else.  Both of the latter are qualities I truly respect!  So when I heard Khloe was coming out with her own line of denim last year, I immediately knew it was going to be GOOD! ((pun intended 😉 ))  Why?  Because they have an incredible track record when it comes to businesses.  Fast forward to this years Nordstrom Sale, which included a couple of pairs of Good American denim.  I decided this would be the perfect time to try out her line so I purchased a pair of the ‘Good Legs High Waist Ankle Skinny’ jeans and waited patiently for them until mid-September.  I went back and forth on what size to get and after having worn them once, changed my mind so I thought a review post dedicated to sizing and fit would be helpful for y’all.

What size should I get?  I heard mixed reviews on this.  If you’re over a size 12, I’ve heard you need to size up.  My friend Sarah can attest to this, as she sized up and her’s are a perfect fit!  I am between a size 4 and 6 ((feeling more like a 6 these days #timeforanotherroundofthewhole30)) so that’s what I ordered and what I’m wearing in these photos.  Well after only about an hour, I knew this was the wrong size choice.  They were falling down on my hips and I was constantly pulling them up which is my #1 pet-peeve with a pair of jeans. And as you can see in the pics, the legs aren’t as fitted as I would like skinny jeans to be.  Sarah agreed and encouraged me to exchange for the size 4.  Luckily I bought them from Nordstrom which has THE BEST costumer service and exchanging them was no problem!  I have since received them in the size 4 and SO GLAD I decided to exchange them!  A much better fit!  So all that to say, if you’re under a size 12 order true to size/one size down!

Are they worth the money?  Short answer – YES!  They are so comfortable and I will be purchasing another style in the future I’m sure!

I hope you enjoyed this review and found it helpful!  Let me know in the comments below if you have a pair of Good American denim or if you’re thinking about ordering a pair!
