My favorite way to transition my wardrobe is with past season styles, in future season colors. For example, with this outfit I am wearing a summer top ((because unfortunately it still gets into the 90’s daily here in NC)) in a popular fall color, burnt orange. Transitioning your wardrobe this way allows you to not die in the heat but still feel like your wardrobe is season appropriate. Jeanius, right?! Haha – clearly I spelled that wrong but it’s because I wanted to bring up the elephant in the room. THESE JEANS! They are pure perfection! And I believe y’all agree because I got COUNTLESS questions and compliments on them when I posted this photo and this photo. They are a “girlfriend” style, which is the look of a boyfriend jean with more of the fit of a skinny jean. I found them to be true to size and super comfortable. I would say they stretch after a wear or two, but I don’t mind. You should totally grab a pair for yourself because they will be a huge asset to your fall wardrobe! Imagine them with booties, a tunic tee, excursion vest, and wool hat. Or with a bodysuit, heels, and a choker. Seriously, you should get them! Transitioning you wardrobe doesn’t have to be hard! Just remember, past season styles in future season colors!
