Type A Tuesday ((List making))

tips for list making, making lists, how to make to-do lists, type A personality, getting stuff done, post-its, notepads

Making lists is to Type A’s as recess is to kids.  It’s fun, and they look forward to it!  No joke, making a list and checking things off of it is one of my favorite things to do!  You may be laughing, but there have been studies done that prove that checking things off of a to-do list actually releases endorphin’s and makes you feel happier!  Who knew being type A could be good for your health?!  Haha.  So get those to-do lists ready!  I like to make separate lists for “things-to-do” and “events”.  Naturally, this keeps everything in an organized category and helps my mind focus on each.  I have COUNTLESS notepads, agendas, journals, and post-its for all my list making and wanted to share my favorites below!  ((And if you are a blogger, this is my holy grail for keeping my blog posts and ideas in order!))

List making tips:

Separate into action items and events
Try to put action items in the order you want to complete
When making a grocery or errand list put the items in the order you go through the store
Color code!! If you read my email organization tips here, you know I love to color code 😉

Happy list making friends!
