Disclaimer – I am not, nor do I claim to be, a beauty blogger. But I thought I would do a review of my favorite cosmetic products since make-up is a big part of my outfit every day. Since I have been blogging my make-up techniques have greatly improved and here are the products that helped with that journey!
Mary Kay moisturizer – oily/combination skin – I am a former MK beauty consultant and started using this moisturizer when I began selling. Even after I have stopped selling I still like using this product because it gives a good base for my make-up without leaving my skin feeling wet and oily.
100% Pure concealer – love anything all natural and organic that works for my skin! I used to use only 100% Pure products in regards to make-up, until I started having acne problems and needed more full coverage products.
Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation – this is BY FAR my favorite foundation I have ever used. I have adult onset acne that started a little less than a year ago and this foundation has been a life saver! I used it about 7 years ago when I did competitive dancing because it was great under the heavy stage lighting. If you like a full coverage, matte finish foundation you HAVE TO get this stuff! I apply using this beauty blender.
Mary Kay powder and brush
Naked Basics eye shadow palette – I’m sure you have all heard about this very popular product. And I see why it has such great reviews! It’s pricey for eye shadow but the colors are perfection and worth the money in my opinion. I use this Sonia Kashuk brush for the lighter colors and this Eco Tools brush for the dark ones.
Jordana liquid and pencil liner – this is the first time I have bought these products and although they are not the worst I’ve bought, I will probably be going back to my Maybelline liquid and pencil eye liners when these Jordana products run out. ((I typically use liquid on top and pencil on the bottom to line my watermark))
L’Oreal Double Extend mascara – I really only use the primer of this, hardly ever the mascara side. This primer is THE BEST. Even better than the expensive name brands out there!
Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Flex mascara – I bought this about 3 weeks ago and I am in love! If you like adding volume to your lashes you will love this mascara (and it’s only $7!!)
Did y’all enjoy this post? Like I said, I’m not a beauty blogger but make-up is just so fun to talk about and I think it can be just as important to your look as your outfit!
Thanks for stopping by!
